Dabatzy Gaming is a blog dedicated to my adventures, or more so misadventures, through the gaming world! Who am I? That's a great question for a not so great narrator of tells. I go by Dabatzy though often times you will probably hear my name Torie in a stream or video. I've been a gaming enthusiast ever since I was a small child and sneaked into my parents' room to play Resident Evil:Nemesis on my Dad's PS2. Yikes. You know how parents usually have to lock the liquor cabinet up? Mine had to start locking the game cabinets because I was a glutton for horror games which usually followed immense crying after the deed was done. Ever since then, I've been dabbling in all sorts of genres and fell in love with everything, from MMOs, like World of Warcraft, to Action-Adventure games, like Assassin's Creed. In school, I've actually been apart of some really rad things when it comes to gaming. I managed a fansite for Wizard101 in middle school, then in high school, I helped form a Gaming Vlog for the students, and at SCAD, I helped set up our official League Team and managed it for the first year! This led to a fun opportunity with RIOT's volunteer program where I currently help moderate the forums!
This leads me to what I am doing currently, which also translates to I have no idea. I'm currently a SCAD student who is always up to some wacky art project for one of my classes. Eventually, I hope to graduate with a BFA in Advertising and Branding and a BA in Graphic Design but for now, I'm just enjoying my time as a stressed-out college kid who plays league way too much. I hope to record my adventures of all things wacky here, discuss lore and concepts, examine game content, and so on so that it might give you guys some insights or in the very least, a hearty laugh at my struggles!
